Pharmacovigilance Physician - Switzerland

We are working with a Global Pharmaceutical company who have built a fantastic reputation based on an unwavering focus on clinical development and an ethical approach. The role

  • Support the Serious Adverse Events Head to establish and hone the internal systems and operational running of the team
  • Support the Serious Adverse Events Head in the implementation of the action plan for assessing Suspected Unexpected Adverse Reactions from clinical trials
  • Evaluate Serious Adverse Events in the context of the overall safety profile of the product
  • Assess strategic and operational impact on clinical development plan
  • Oversee the processing and narrative writing of Serious Adverse Events from the clinical trails
  • Support the development and assist in the implementation of the internal strategy for early safety signal detection during the clinical development process
  • Take responsibility for the protection of all patient subjects in assigned trails through supporting the Clinical trail safety and early signal detection.
  • Support the Serious Adverse Events Head in the implementation of the action plan for assessing Suspected Unexpected Adverse Reactions from clinical trials
  • Support the Safety Management Team in proactive signal detection during clinical trials
  • Support the Benefit Risk Physician in the analysis, management and presentation of safety signals from clinical trials

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor from a recognised medical school
  • 6+ years (post-training) as a Medical Doctor
  • Clinical experience with vaccines is a plus
  • 5 years experience in the design, conduct, interpretation and reporting of clinical trials
  • Experience in clinical safety, particularly as in the context of blinded controlled trials
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
