Responsibilities

Conduct consultations with patients to assess and understand their digestive health concerns.
Order and perform specialized diagnostic tests to identify gastrointestinal conditions.
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Collaborate closely with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Review and analyze patients’ medical histories to ensure accurate diagnosis and continuity of care.
Work jointly with specialists such as oncologists in managing complex or cancer-related cases.
Carry out endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures to examine internal organs.
Utilize diagnostic imaging techniques, including X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
Perform surgical interventions within the digestive tract when necessary.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

Board certification in Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent).
Advanced proficiency in endoscopic and colonoscopy techniques.
